New Norwegian Name

Hitachi's Norwegian dealer - one of the country's oldest construction equipment suppliers - has given itself a fresh new look and name. Nanset Standard will now be known as Nasta and has launched a new logo to go with its new headquarters too. 6512 Hitachi's Norwegian dealer - one of the country's oldest construction equipment suppliers - has given itself a fresh new look and name. Nanset Standard will now be known as 1543 NASTA and has launched a new logo to go with its new headquarters too.

"When Nanset Standard was named in 1929, Nanset was chosen because it was the place where Søren Røed started the company as a fuel station and Standard referred to the fuel product," explained Nasta managing director Tom Johansen. "The new name will modernise the company for a competitive market. The company has gone through many changes since 1929 - during the last fi ve years we have concentrated on the import, sale and service of construction machinery."
