Aggregate production falls in France

Aggregate production in France fell to 335.8million tonnes in 2010, down from almost 348million tonnes in the previous year, according to the national aggregates association Unicem. The organisation has also reported that production in December last year fell to 15.77million tonnes compared to the 19.22million tonnes recorded in December 2009.

France: Aggregate production falls 3.3% in November 2013

According to Unicem, the French national union for quarry industries and construction materials, production of aggregates declined by 2.7% in November 2013 compared to the previous month and fell 3.3% in contrast to November 2012.

For the first 11 months of the year, production rose 0.8% year-on-year. Production of ready-mixed concrete fell 1.5% in November 2013 compared to the previous month and declined 1.6% in comparison to November 2012. Over an 11-month period, production fell by 2.3%

Iran’s unveils cement production stats

The Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) gives national cement production at 15.77million tonnes between 21 March and 21 June 2015, along with 19.26million tonnes of clinker.

Exports during the 93-day period totalled 4.34million tonnes, while domestic sales stood at 12.67million tonnes.

For the month of 22 May - 21 June, Iran produced 5.88million tonnes of cement and 6.4million tonnes of clinker.
