Cemex supplies sports innovation

Supply of innovative materials by Cemex has helped innovative training for the sports stars of the future to get underway at a new sports centre being developed by French football star Zinedine Zidane in Marseille, France. Supply of innovative materials by 643 Cemex has helped innovative training for the sports stars of the future to get underway at a new sports centre being developed by French football star Zinedine Zidane in Marseille, France.

The 18,000m2 facility, designed by architect Christophe Gulizzi, will include seven football fields, two swimming pools and several fitness rooms and gyms. To meet the demands of the project Cemex has supplied 400m3 of black Advanci Architectonique ready mixed concrete, 1,200m2 of grey ready mixed concrete with black quartz stones for paving and 300m3 of ready mixed concrete pavement outside of the facility, bush-hammered to expose special black aggregates.

Careful coordination of delivery between Cemex and the main contractor has enabled the project to be completed in just 10 months.
