The Aquitaine agency of 643 Cemex Bétons Sud-Ouest has won an award from the French national union of ready-to-use concrete (841 SNBPE) for its work on access walkways and road systems at the vineyard Château Pontet-Cantet in Pauillac.
Some 250m2 of natural mineral decorative concrete made from local granulate was used to build walkways for visitors to the vineyard.
Cemex worked with road constructor 402 Colas to create a system that worked well with the landscape and the buildings on the property. The second portion of work is expected to begin in 2012.
