Part of the UK-based Mineral Products Association (MPA), The Concrete Centre provides material, design and construction guidance to assist those involved in the design, use and performance of concrete.
The new Sustainability Series will provide a wealth of information and resources to enable designers to specify sustainable concrete, design sustainably with concrete, navigate the research and data available to inform sustainable decision-making as well as provide insights into the innovation and research that will shape the future of concrete.
The series will begin with a focus on Low Carbon Concrete. It will explore what is meant by 'low' carbon, how it is defined and how do designers benchmark the version of 'low' that they want.
The Concrete Centre aims to challenge the barriers to the use of low carbon concrete and provide the latest thinking and insights about reducing the embodied and whole-life carbon of concrete.
Throughout the summer, The Concrete Centre will run live events, Q&As, workshops and provide a hub of useful resources including on-demand webinars, and guidance and research.
The next live events are:

- 30th June- Specifying Sustainable Concrete Q&A panel - Book now
