Korund will be a distributor for the aggregates segment customers, while Metso, through its direct sales and service organisation, will continue with the minerals segment customers. Under the agreement, Korund will sell Metso's crushing and screening equipment, wear parts, screening media, and services, including warranty support. These Metso solutions will be coupled with Korund's technical expertise, local presence, and knowledge of the local markets.
Korund Group is well known in Kazakhstan and Central Asia as a supplier and integrator of specialised heavy equipment and services for the construction, mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors. With 30 years of presence in the market, it is also the official distributor of several well-known global brands.
Korund employs many skilled people and has extensive knowledge of the construction and crushing segments, appreciated by end customers. Additionally, they have broad experience in sales and service with the biggest customers in the region. Korund's readiness to invest in a stock of capital equipment and spare parts will be an advantage for Metso's customers.
