Established for more than 60 years, Bruce Engineering supplies machinery for the quarrying, recycling and aggregate industries.

Bruce Engineering offers bespoke turn-key wash plants as well as a range of compact modular units that can be combined to suit specific requirements or to replace equipment in an existing wash plant.

The new dealership agreement between the two Northern Ireland-based companies appoints CRJ Services as the exclusive distributor of Bruce Engineering equipment in the Midlands and north of England.

CRJ Services says the addition of Bruce Engineering to its portfolio complements its existing offering and also allows CRJ to diversify its hire fleet capabilities with the arrival of several mobile Bruce Water Baths (BWBs), that are available to hire throughout the UK and Ireland.

It adds that the advanced technology utilised by Bruce Engineering allows end-users to accurately and efficiently clean, screen and stockpile sized aggregate and sand products that can be sold into the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Sand is a finite resource and is globally the most consumed natural resource after air and water. The rising demand for natural sand comes at a cost, with 50 billion tons of sand being used annually across the globe. CRJ Services says that Bruce’s solutions bridge this gap by efficiently washing recycled aggregate and quarry by-products to produce in-spec materials such as sharp and coarse sand as well as clean, sized aggregate products.

The Bruce range of equipment is also designed to lend itself to the increasing trend of quarry owners generating new revenue streams by processing C&D waste, and other secondary/recycled materials from third-party contractors.

Thomas Haughey, sales & dealer manager at Bruce Engineering, commented: “Bruce Engineering is pleased to welcome CRJ Services to our global network. Through this partnership, we can continue to build on the strong reputation already developed by CRJ and Bruce, of providing reliable and innovative materials processing solutions. CRJ Services adds a wealth of experience and integrity to our partner network, and combined with their strong customer-focused approach, makes them an exceptional partner for Bruce Engineering.”

Ben McQuaid, director at CRJ Services, said: “CRJ Services is delighted to announce the addition of the Bruce Engineering range of products to the CRJ Sales portfolio. The quality of the machinery and experience that Bruce delivers aligns closely with the values and practices of CRJ. Our extensive after-sale and backup support will allow us to deliver an exceptional service to our customers, with the reassurance of a close working relationship with Bruce Engineering as the original equipment manufacturer.”
