3704 Eurocement is developing a project for the construction of a cement plant with a capacity of 1.3 million tonnes per year in the Blagodarny district of the Stavropol region of Russia.

In the future the plant may also produce dry mortars as well.

The company hopes to get an expert opinion and a construction permit by the summer 2012, and the project is expected to take two years to develop.

Experts estimate the construction at between €311.67 abd  €383.59 million, and in order to provide the new enterprise with raw materials, Eurocement intends to apply to the 3728 Federal Agency for Subsoil Usage (Rosnedra) for a licence for prospect evaluation surveys at the Spasskoe shell limestone deposit in the Blagodarny district.
