Environmental factors have played a key part in design of 725 Lafarge’s newest ready mixed concrete plant in France. The new 40,000m3 capacity facility in Saussay has a rain water collection system to provide the plant with water and a washing sludge collection system to allow waste from the mixer and trucks to be recycled. Lafarge has said that the plant can produce up to 400 different mixes of concrete.
