Metso has reached another significant milestone in Lokotrack sales by delivering the 500th unit sold in Germany during steinexpo, the biggest quarry exhibition in Europe, being held 30 August – 2 September. The LT120 jaw plant was received by Andres Erdarbeiten, a family-owned crushing, screening and recycling contractor. Globally, Metso has sold over 7,000 Lokotracks.

Superior Industries has expanded a partnership with its long-time dealer, General Equipment & Supplies. The Midwestern US distributor of aggregate and construction equipment now exclusively represents Superior brand crushing, vibratory and washing equipment in the states of Iowa and Nebraska. At the 10th steinexpo (30 August-2 September 2017), being held in Europe's largest basalt quarry at Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany, GIPO will present its mobile tracked GIPOKOMBI RC 130 FDR DA.
The Swiss company says the plant is equipped with the new and innovative crusher direct drive and features extremely low diesel consumption.

Metso will change its business area organisation in the Minerals segment.
The current Minerals Services business area will be divided into two separate business areas: Minerals Services and Minerals Consumables.
Both new business areas will work in close cooperation with the Minerals Capital business to offer optimal end-to-end solutions for their customers.
The heads of the business areas will report to Nico Delvaux, Metso's President and CEO, and they will be members of Metso's Executive Team.

Superior Industries has named Mark Crooks as its vibratory product manager.
His responsibilities will include managing and further developing Superior’s vibratory product line, which currently includes the Guardian horizontal Screen; Anthem inclined screen, and Intrepid vibrating grizzly feeder (VGF).

Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc. (KPI), has released new filter kits for all its mobile crushing and screening equipment. The new filter kits will, says the company further improve engine performance in asphalt and other dusty environments. “Our equipment is well-suited for RAP applications, these filters allow us to build on that strength for even better performance,” says Tim Harms, product manager for crushing and screening products.
