Terex Cranes (TC's) has appointed Bill Cox as sales director for TC North America, where he will work with the company's senior management to set and drive equipment sales strategy throughout the U.S. And Canada. He will also lead TC's internal and field sales teams and interact with its distributors and customers. Cox replaces Mark Phillippi, who will retire at the end of the year.
Cox's career in began in 1993 as a direct sales manager for Stone Construction Equipment, where he worked with customers and distributors throughout five states. In addition, he worked briefly for Terex in the early 2000's, managing sales and distributor development for Genie, and the Terex Light Construction division. In his most recent role, he served as a crane equipment sales and distributor development representative for Tadano Mantis Corporation.
