Xylem, a water and pump technology provider for global industries including quarrying, has reported second quarter revenue of US$1.4bn surpassing previous guidance in each business segment. 

National nonresidential construction spending was down by 0.5% in June, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) analysis of data published by the U.S. Census Bureau. On a seasonally adjusted annualised basis, nonresidential spending totalled $829.4 billion for the month.

Holcim has successfully completed the acquisition of SES Foam, the biggest independent spray foam insulation company in the US, with 2022 estimated net sales of $200 million.
