Cemex celebrates safety award

Systematic improvements in health and safety made by Cemex Kies and Splitt in Germany have secured a special award from Sicherheitsfachleute der Berufsgenossenschaft Rohstoffe und chemische Industrie (BG RCI). The company underwent a voluntary inspection by the independent safety specialist of BG RCI which is the professional association of raw materials and chemical industry.

Systematic improvements in health and safety made by 643 Cemex Kies and Splitt in Germany have secured a special award from Sicherheitsfachleute der Berufsgenossenschaft Rohstoffe und chemische Industrie (3022 BG RCI). The company underwent a voluntary inspection by the independent safety specialist of BG RCI which is the professional association of raw materials and chemical industry.

The company was presented with certificates to mark the achievement by Heinz Bösel and Matthias Stenzel of the BG RCI. In its acceptance speech Cemex regional leader mineral raw materials for North-Rhine/Westphalia Franc Kessler praised the exemplary efforts of his coworkers for attaining the quality seal. He also thanked to the professional association for the untiring fight for the minimisation of the risks in the occupation world and promised to continue Cemex’s efforts to achieve zero industrial accidents.
