Cemex modernises Tarragona quarry

Dust and emissions from Cemex Spain’s Vandellos i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant quarry in Tarragona have been cut following investment in a €1.5million upgrade at the site. The company has installed a new grinding plant at the quarry to enhance production as well as an advanced dust suppression system to improve the environmental performance of the site.

New trommel next step in Saint-Gobain Formula’s £7million investment in Bantycock Quarry

A Hercules HT182C heavy duty trommel screen, manufactured in Shropshire, England, by Stelex Construction Equipment Ltd, has been installed at Saint-Gobain Formula’s (Formula) Bantycock Quarry near Newark, Notts as part of SGF’s £7 million investment in the site. The newly-installed 77tonne trommel will support one of Formula’s key objectives of reducing airborne dust emissions from the site, having been fitted with additional spray bar dust suppression units and bespoke extended side panel screens to partia
