Germany cement consumption to rise

Cement demand in Germany is expected to rise 6% to 26million tonnes this year, according to the industry association Bundesverband der Deutschen Zementindustri. The association said that demand in 2010 fell behind levels seen in the previous year due to poor weather but overall cement consumption has fallen by a third in the last 10 years.
