Lafarge Africa donates PPE and three facilities to help Nigeria fight COVID-19

Lafarge Africa has donated personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as three facilities that can be turned into quarantine centres to help Nigeria's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The cement production unit of French-Swiss sector giant LafargeHolcim has also enhanced its water sanitation and hygiene initiatives in its host communities. The series of moves will ease the burden of healthcare institutions in Lagos and its host communities in the battle against the virus, said Khaled El Dokani, CEO of Lafarge Africa.
