The September event showcased strong global participation, with buyers and sellers from around the world converging to secure top-quality equipment. With two auctions taking place this November, there is plenty more opportunity to upgrade equipment. All lots will be sold with no minimum prices to the highest bidder on auction day.

Upcoming UK November Auctions: A Unique Month of Opportunity

 

Ritchie Bros. UK is excited to announce that November will be a month of more opportunities, offering customers a unique chance to participate in two auctions. In addition to the regular Maltby November auction on the 6th & 7th November, Ritchie Bros. UK will be hosting a the Plantforce Fleet Renewal Auction on November 20th, a unique and significant event that will feature over 200 pieces of high-quality, well-maintained used equipment from Plantforce Rental.

 

Maltby November Auction – 6th & 7th November

 

The list of equipment for sale in this Maltby November auction is available on the Ritchie Bros. website, along with detailed photos and information about each item. All lots will be available for in-person inspection at the Ritchie Bros. UK Maltby yard during business hours (8am - 5pm) on 4th and 5th November. Bidding is exclusively online and will be open on November 1st. This gives buyers time to assess their options and make purchasing decisions until the bidding closes on November 6 & 7 depending on lot number.

 

Plantforce Fleet Renewal Auction – 20th November

 

The up-to-date list of equipment with detailed photos & inspection reports of the Plantforce Fleet Renewal Auction can be found on rbauction.co.uk. All lots will be available for in-person inspection at the Ritchie Bros. UK Maltby yard during business hours (8am - 5pm) on the 18th and 19th November. Bidding is exclusively online and will be open on November 15th. This gives buyers time to assess their options and make purchasing decisions until the bidding closes on November 20th depending on lot number.

Participating in Ritchie Bros. auctions is very easy. Interested buyers just need to create an account on Rbauction.co.uk and register for the RB Maltby November Auction and Plantforce Fleet Renewal auction.

 

How to bid in an Online Timed Auction:

 

A timed online auction is one where bids are placed exclusively online (on rbauction.co.uk) during a predetermined period. Bidding lasts several days and closes in staggered times for each lot. The auction is unreserved, meaning every lot starts from zero and is sold to the highest bidder at the time of closing.

 

To bid, you need to:

 

  • Create a free Ritchie Bros. account or log into your existing account and register for the UK auctions of your choice.
  • Make a deposit via bank transfer or credit card. The deposit is fully refundable if no lots are won.
  • Place bids manually by confirming the amount proposed by the system to outbid the current highest bid or use "Priority Bids" (where you set a maximum amount, and the system will automatically bid the minimum required to stay ahead, up to the limit you've set).
