Terreal posts 20% turnover increase for H1 2019

Terreal, a French construction materials producer, saw its first half of 2019 turnover rise by an impressive 20% to €224mn. The eye-catching rise is said to be thanks to the acquisition of GSE Intégration, an integrated photovoltaic systems specialist, in September 2018. Terreal, a French construction materials producer, saw its first half of 2019 turnover rise by an impressive 20% to €224mn. The eye-catching rise is said to be thanks to the acquisition of GSE Intégration, an integrated photovoltaic systems specialist, in September 2018.

Terreal reported an EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation & amortisation) of €43.6mn in January-June 2019, +9.6% on a like-for-like basis.

According to Terreal CEO Laurent Musy, 2019 is set to be another year of growing sales, with the company well placed to post its highest EBITDA in the last 10 years.
