Euro Auctions’ A-Plant sale is biggest to date

Euro Auctions held the largest sale to date for leading plant hire specialist A-Plant, at its site in Leeds, County Yorkshire, England, selling over 800 lots in what is believed to be the largest one-owner sale held in the UK this year. This is the fourth sale that Euro Auctions has conducted for A-Plant and it was supported by bidders and buyers from over 40 countries worldwide. 417 Euro Auctions held the largest sale to date for leading plant hire specialist 6829 A-Plant, at its site in Leeds, County Yorkshire, England, selling over 800 lots in what is believed to be the largest one-owner sale held in the UK this year.

This is the fourth sale that Euro Auctions has conducted for A-Plant and it was supported by bidders and buyers from over 40 countries worldwide.

David Betts from Euro Auctions, says: “We are very happy with the prices achieved during the sale. They were well ahead of expectations and overall it has been another good venture in association with A-Plant.

“In addition, we always expect a lot of the smaller hire companies, contractors and builders who know the A Plant brand and quality of servicing to acquire this type of plant and machinery, as they can purchase with confidence and drive the equipment straight out to work. We believe we have created a proven and trusted formula with which to promote A-Plant assets.”

The sale catalogue consisted of:  45+ excavators; 25+ rollers; 70+ telehandlers; 80+ dumpers; 90+ man lifts; 50+ generators; 80+ compressors, as well as over 300 small lots.

Notable prices achieved included £7,000 (€9,950)for a 2008 Benford 1 ton dumper and £2,750 (€3,900)for a 2008 Genset MGZ 20KVA generator.
