CRH chief executive Albert Manifold was Ireland’s highest paid boss in 2015, according to a poll by Irish newspaper the Sunday Independent. The building materials giant, whose acquisitions’ spending last year approached €8bn last year, is said to have paid Manifold €5.53 million in 2015.
