New president at Turkey’s AGUB

Besir Kemal Ustaoğlu, president of the AGUB (Aggregates Producers Association of Turkey) has resigned his presidency, a post he took up in March, 2015. The organisation says that at its last board meeting, Sevket Koruc was elected as president, and it thanked Ustaoglu for his contributions. Sevket Koruc graduated from Sivas University Mining Faculty in 1998, and has worked as site manager at Dogantas Mining Company, a sub-contractor of Yibitas Lafarge until 2001. Besir Kemal Ustaoğlu, president of the AGUB (Aggregates Producers Association of Turkey) has resigned his presidency, a post he took up in March, 2015.

The organisation says that at its last board meeting, Sevket Koruc was elected as president, and it thanked Ustaoglu for his contributions.

Sevket Koruc graduated from Sivas University Mining Faculty in 1998, and has worked as site manager at Dogantas Mining Company, a sub-contractor of Yibitas 725 Lafarge until 2001.

During the same period he gained a master’s degree, and has started to work at Akcansa Cement Company as site manager at the Gebze Aggregate Plant in 2002.

He was head of aggregates at Akcansa from 2009-2016.

He is now providing consultancy services to the aggregates sector at Caba Group Mining Company as a company partner.
