It was one of the 12 companies from a pool of 300 from various industry sectors to have been short-listed for the award.
The Polish Agency for Entrepreneurship for Innovative Technology and Research nominated Weir Minerals for the R&D that has led to the development of the Warman WBH pump range.
Jaroslaw Kukawski, territory manager Poland, attended the presentation ceremony where Wojciech Pomarański, president of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, handed out the awards.
He said: “Receiving this award is a sign that we are recognised as an important company that brings quality and innovation into Poland. I am delighted that our focus on producing reliable, high-quality, innovative solutions for our customers all over the world has been recognised with this very prestigious accolade.”
