Holcim plans Slovakia investment

Holcim has announced plans to invest €11million in improving its cement factory in Rohoznik, Slovakia and outlined a scheme to invest a further €40million in the region.

680 Holcim has announced plans to invest €11million in improving its cement factory in Rohoznik, Slovakia and outlined a scheme to invest a further €40million in the region. The company has said that €7million of the first tranche of investment will be used to improve efficiency at the cement facility.

The Slovakia-based subsidiary said that it is negotiating with its parent company to secure the other part of the investment which would be used to improve environmental protection.
