Bauma Africa equipment exhibition expands to meet demand

Demand for space at the inaugural bauma Africa equipment exhibition has forced the organisers to increase the show space on offer. Initially organisers Messe München International had planned to have 200 exhibitors at the show, which runs from 18-21September. However demand for the Johannesburg event has led to up to 400 exhibitors being registered. Demand for space at the inaugural bauma Africa equipment exhibition has forced the organisers to increase the show space on offer. Initially organisers 5655 Messe München International had planned to have 200 exhibitors at the show, which runs from 18-21September. However demand for the Johannesburg event has led to up to 400 exhibitors being registered. To meet this requirement the organisers have added 15,000m2 of exhibition space, bringing the total to 50,000m2.

Manufacturers that have already signed up to the show include 385 Atlas Copco, Bauer, 2983 Bell Equipment, 4336 Putzmeister, 4334 Sany, 429 Hyundai, 441 LiuGong, 7341 Sumitomo, 6280 Vermeer, 6550 Wirtgen and 7340 XCMG, providing a truly international flavour. In total there will be nine country pavilions at the show, representing Austria, China, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Korea, Northern Ireland and Spain.
