DCT’s new dust control design

Mobile dust and odour suppression company Dust Control Technology (DCT) has introduced its new and largest trailer-mounted dust control system.

The atomised mist design features a range of 100m and the ability to deliver 15,500m² of coverage area.

The DustBoss DB-100 Fusion is powered by its own 150kW generator with a 6.8litre John Deere Tier III flex diesel engine, all mounted on one of several roadworthy dual-axle trailer options with stabilising jacks.

Telestack produces 2,000tonnes/hour Titan bulk reception feeder

Telestack has designed and produced the Titan T1600-8, what it says is the largest mobile bulk reception feeder in the international market.

The aim of the project was to design and build a bulk reception unit that could handle throughput rates of up to 2,000tonnes/hour and have the ability to receive a payload from a Cat 777 off-highway rigid haul truck for the end user, a significant producer of construction aggregates in North America (primarily crushed stone, sand and gravel).

New Terex Finlay 883+ for MD Recycling

A Waste management company in Mid-Wales, UK, says it has ramped up the quality and speed of its recycled products after investing in a new Terex Finlay 883+.

MD Recycling of Ceredigion placed an order for the new plant at Hillhead earlier this year with long-term supply partner Finlay Plant SW.

Cemex’s conservation programmes certified

Several of Cemex’s facilities in Mexico and USA have earned Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) Conservation Certification for their conservation programmes and wildlife education and environmental protection efforts.

The WHC certified 15 programmes at Cemex’s facilities in the USA and, for the first time, certified three programmes in Mexico.

Besir Kemal Ustaoğlu, president of the AGUB (Aggregates Producers Association of Turkey) has resigned his presidency, a post he took up in March, 2015.

The organisation says that at its last board meeting, Sevket Koruc was elected as president, and it thanked Ustaoglu for his contributions.

Proposed Slovakia tunnel project delayed

Delays seem likely for the project to build a tunnel link between Turany and Hubova in Slovakia. Hyundai introduce new HX430 L crawler excavator at Hillhead 2016

Hyundai has launched the new 44tonne HX430 crawler excavator. The HX430 L was exhibited for the first time at any show at the Hillhead 2016 exhibition in the UK, where it was fitted with a Strickland S-lock Quick Coupler and a Daemo B360 Breaker.

Volvo wheeled loader buckets

Volvo Construction Equipment has introduced three new buckets specifically designed to fit Volvo L110-L350 wheeled loaders: Volvo Sand bucket, Volvo Rehandling flat floor bucket, and Volvo Rehandling bucket, which will replace the current model.
