Norwegian aggregates producer Veidekke Industri replaced the old aggregates plant with portable NW Rapid™ crushing and screening equipment to boost production and simplify relocations.
The new plant has more capacity, flexibility and an improvement of 20% compared to the maximum capacity of the old plant.
“Our challenge was that the equipment was outdated. The site, however, did not have enough space for building a new stationary plant,” explains Roger Pedersen, Production Manager, Veidekke Industri.
“We will change the location of the plant in three years. Portable equipment is easier and cheaper to take down and transport,” Pedersen says.
