Paul Douglas - MD of the Motherwell, Scotland-based off-highway truck manufacturer, accepted the award at the ceremony held at the Hilton Glasgow hotel on May 16.

To be recognised for this is a great accolade and it is a real motivator to continue to find innovative ways to design, build and market our products whilst investing in our team members, new apprentices and community projects."
The Scottish Engineering Awards honour the achievements of the country's manufacturing and engineering industry and and are intended to celebrate Scotland's diversity, vibrancy and innovation within the sector. The jury chose companies based on local investment and employee training, as well as their ability to be innovative. Profitability, lean transformation reinvention and HQSE (health, quality, safety and environment) also played a part.
