Felix Bietenbeck previously worked for automotive company Continental. Most recently, as executive vice president, he was responsible for the vehicle dynamics division with around 10,000 employees and more than 20 production and development sites. Prior to that, he held various roles at Continental, including positions in China, Mexico and Germany, where he successfully helped shape both growth and restructuring phases.
His appointment sees Wacker Neuson's management board increase from three to four positions with Bietenbeck becoming a board member. The company says the expansion of the board is a reaction to its recent expansion.
"With our portfolio of innovative construction equipment and compact machines, we have grown strongly in recent years," said Hans Neunteufel, chairman of the supervisory board of Wacker Neuson.
