394 Case Construction Equipment has added to its website a new online tool that allows customers to con¬figure their own machine from the ground up with just few clicks. The company says that the new product configurator provides customers with detailed information and greater visibility into all the machine’s options even before contacting the dealer. It also simplifies and shortens the buying process thanks to a more automated quoting procedure.

The product configurator is now available for the UK and Italian markets with plans to further expand to other countries in the near future.

“From the cab interiors to the engine options, from the wheel types or track shoes to the full range of attachments available for each model, the product configurator allows customers to fully customise a Case machine without leaving the comfort of their office or while they are working at the job site,” says the company.

“The tool gives access to the entire line-up of Case equipment from both heavy and compact lines. Customers can select the product segment they are interested in and then choose the machine that better suits their needs from the models available.”

The product page is divided into sections, each dedicated to a significant part of the machine: cab, engine and transmission, hydraulics, attachment, tyres and wheels or tracks and chains. There are also sections for the homologation data and for the special attachments and options available. In each section customers can review the factory configuration and standard features and analyse all the possible customisations.

The interface is designed to be intuitive and extremely easy to use and as an online tool, the product configurator is compatible with mobile devices and tablets.
