“For two decades, Construction Executive has helped contractors build their businesses and their people, bringing to life the stories of the diverse, innovative and remarkable construction marketplace,” said Michael Bellaman, president and CEO of ABC and publisher of CE. “Celebrating this milestone redesign, ABC’s flagship publication will continue to grow as a reliable, respected source of thought leadership, elevating the entire industry.”
CE’s print redesign introduces a bold and stylish look and feel—created in collaboration with THOR Design Studio, the magazine’s design partner—that complements the magazine’s robust content. The January-February 2023 issue includes a cover-story profile of ABC 2023 Chair of the National Board of Directors Milton Graugnard, a feature-length exploration of construction-site sanitation post-COVID-19 and an interview with creativity and innovation consultant Duncan Wardle.
“Our readers know a thing or two about renovations and upgrades, and it’s in that spirit that we approached this new direction for Construction Executive,” said Christopher Durso, editor-in-chief of CE. “You could say that we took CE down to the studs and rebuilt from there. When the dust settled, we’d created—or recreated—the premier magazine for construction in the 21st century.”
Later this year, a redesigned ConstructionExec.com will launch along with a more robust presence on social media—further establishing CE as the best source for multiplatform content about the business of construction.
Published nine times a year, CE reaches more than 55,000 commercial, industrial and institutional contractors and construction-related business owners and has won more than 20 editorial awards. With departments focused on safety, workforce development, technology, project management and more, CE features articles that address industry trends, spotlight innovative or interesting projects and offer insightful forecasting and analysis. First published in 2003, CE also produces the CE This Week newsletter as well as a website, ConstructionExec.com, that is regularly updated with original content and professional education webinars.
