Among the speakers at the Microsoft Teams-base event is Andries van Heerden, CEO of building materials company Afrimat, who will give an update on small surface mines and aggregates & sand.
The other speakers include Minerals Council CEO Roger Baxter who will discuss the state of the country's mining industry.
CASA (Construction Alliance South Africa) chairperson John Matthews will speak about the role of CASA and the state of the construction industry.
Peter Fourie, CEO of Sephaku, will give an update on the South African cement industry.
The final scheduled speaker is Belinda Heichler, president of SACAA (South African Coal Ash Association), who will provide an update about the association.
Aspasa says the speakers will cover broad issues and share some challenges and positive issues that are relevant to the industry they are speaking for.
The workshop will take place from 10am to 12-15pm South Africa Standard Time (SAST).
