The government of Jammu and Kashmir, India, has issued a directive to all departments in the state to only purchase cement from Jammu and Kashmir Cements (
It is also said that departments cannot approach the open market to purchase cement unless the local company is unable to supply orders and a non-availability certificate is acquired.
The directive is under Order No89-IND of 2016 issued to all commerce departments and government industries.
