China’s Sinoma to build Dangote cement plants

Dangote Cement and Chinese company Sinoma International Engineering have signed deals to construct cement plants across Africa. The plants will add 25million tonnes to the cement company’s existing capacity of nearly 50 million tonnes.

The plants will add 25million tonnes to the cement company’s existing capacity of nearly 50 million tonnes.

The US$4.34 billion (€3.81 billion) deal will include setting up plants in Ethiopia, Niger, Kenya, Zambia, Ethiopia, Senegal, Cameroon, Mali and Nepal.
