HeidelbergCement increases dividend

HeidelbergCement's managing and supervisory boards have increased the German building materials group's dividend for the 2021 financial year.

HeidelbergCement's managing and supervisory boards have increased the German building materials group's dividend for the 2021 financial year

At the group's annual general meeting (AGM), the boards will propose to distribute a dividend of €2.40 per share for the 2021 financial year. This corresponds to an increase of 9% compared with the previous year's premium of €2.20 per share. Based on the HeidelbergCement share price on 31 December 2021, the dividend yield is 4%. The payout ratio - concerning the group's share of adjusted profit - is 30 %.

The group is thus continuing its progressive dividend policy. The dividend is subject to the shareholders' approval at the AGM, being held on 12 May 2022.
