For the second year running, Marshalls, a major UK hard landscaping and building materials supplier, has been named one of Europe's Climate Leaders by a joint initiative between the Financial Times and Statista. Europe's Climate Leaders is a list of the top companies in Europe that are successfully reducing their core greenhouse gas emissions relative to their revenue.
A company spokesperson said: "Being a Climate Leader means we continue to reduce our carbon emissions toward our science-based targets. We've done this by taking clear action throughout different parts of the business. We've switched to green electricity, and we've been working with our sites to reduce our emissions and energy. We've also looked at our products and reduced some of the cement content as well as reducing plastic packaging.
"Reducing our carbon impact is something we take seriously, and being named a Climate Leader is a badge we're proud to wear."
