The theme of the morning's business conference sessions at Church House, Westminster, is Government as Client … Delivering for the Public Sector and will focus on pipeline and procurement in infrastructure, housing and construction. Speakers and panel contributors will include senior figures from organisations such as the Infrastructure Client Group, HS2, National Highways, Environment Agency, Network Rail, Home Builders Federation, and the BEIS/Construction Leadership Council.

The Mineral Products Association (MPA) hosted conference was being opened by MPA chief executive Nigel Jackson and facilitated by BBC News and Business presenter Samantha Simmonds. A three-course sit-down lunch follows the morning's discussions.

After lunch keynote speaker Lord Daniel Finkelstein OBE is a broadcaster, columnist and former Executive Editor and Associate Editor of The Times, advisor to William Hague and John Major, and working Peer with a particular emphasis on urban regeneration and infrastructure. He will be taking an honest look at the current Government and the wider political scene.
