In the first seven months, the Doukkala-Adba region posted the strongest performance, with growth of 30% due mainly to the construction of the Safi-El Jadida motorway and the port of Safi.

After two months of a decline, sales of cement in Morocco rose 4.39% in July, 2015.
Sales since the start of the year are down 0.77%.
In the first seven months, the Doukkala-Adba region posted the strongest performance, with growth of 30% due mainly to the construction of the Safi-El Jadida motorway and the port of Safi.
CIMAR benefited from the growth in the region,posting sales up 7.6% to MAD 1.93 billion (US$200 million).
8017 Holcim Maroc suffered from a gloomy construction sector in its natural regions of Chaouia-Ouardigha (-18.2%); Fès-Boulemane (-6.3%); Grand Casablanca (-5.6%), and Oriental (-5.6%).
Ciments de l'Atlas (CIMAT) was penalised by lowering sales in the region of Chaouia-Ouardigha, while 725 Lafarge Maroc was negatively affected by a drop in sales in Grand Casablanca and Meknès.
