New research just published suggests that key heavy building materials markets in Northern Ireland are at their strongest levels since the turn of the decade.
Markets for asphalt, aggregates and ready mixed concrete have all increased, with one sector up by as much as a third.

The findings are made available in three separate market reports providing estimated outputs and market shares for 2016. Each report identifies the companies involved and their operations on a county by county basis. Figures for every company are then summarised at a national level, with supporting commentary.
