Peab acquires gravel/rock operations from HeidelbergCement

Through its subsidiary Swerock, Peab has signed a Letter of Intent with HeidelbergCement Northern Europe for Peab to acquire the operations run by the HeidelbergCement company within extraction, production and sales of gravel and rock products in the Western Götaland region of Sweden. Operations are concentrated in Kållered, along with a few other facilities.

Through its subsidiary Swerock, 1089 Peab has signed a Letter of Intent with 674 HeidelbergCement Northern Europe for Peab to acquire the operations run by the HeidelbergCement company within extraction, production and sales of gravel and rock products in the Western Götaland region of Sweden.
Operations are concentrated in Kållered, along with a few other facilities.

Collective net sales for the business in the financial year 2015 amounted to around SEK 110 million (€11.6 million) and there are 27 employees.
