Raised in the construction industry, where his family operated a construction contracting company, Schadendorf has solid experience and expertise in the concrete industry. He has previously held various positions at the Heidelberg Materials Group and is currently the managing director of its subsidiary Trapobet Transportbetongesellschaft Kaiserslautern.
With an MBA in General Management, dual Bachelor's Degrees in Civil Engineering, and a background as a site manager in his family's company, Schadendorf combines practical experience with crucial industry knowledge and leadership.

In his new role as Thomas Beton CEO, Schadendorf will lead the company's team towards its vision of being perceived as the best in its industry and promoting internal collaboration to ensure sustainable and long-term success.

Schadendorf assumes the position of CEO on 1 August 1st 2024. The current CEO, B. Rainer Brings, will continue until 31 July 2024. After that, he will remain a strategic advisor for Thomas Beton during a transition period and retire in 2025.
