Having been serving as the Finnish building materials technology company's chief operating officer since October 2023, Kalpala will take up her new positions immediately.
Riku Kytömäki has stood down as Betolar CEO and president. At the same time, sales and operations functions will be merged and chief commercial officer Ville Voipio will step down from the management team.
Kalpala held demanding international management positions in supply, logistics and strategic development with Neste Corporation from 2003 to 2023 in Finland, North America, and Germany. She also has experience in strategically significant commercial development projects.
