Vietnamese cement consumption up 13% by mid-Q2 2018

Vietnamese cement consumption grew to around 29.83 million tonnes by the mid-second quarter of 2018, up 13% compared to the same period of 2017. Vietnam's Ministry of Construction (MoC), who revealed the up-to-mid Q2 2018 figures, is currently putting the finishing touches to its master plan for the exploitation, exploration and utilisation of minerals as main building materials. The report is said to include a forecast on demand levels to 2035.
