Lemminkäinen posts Q2 sales increase

Finnish construction group, Lemminkäinen, has reported net sales of €550 million in the second quarter of 2011, up from €460 million in the same period of 2010. The group's operating profit amounted to €20.6 million, which was up from €19.5 million in the second quarter of 2010. Earnings before taxes amounted to €16.1 million in the second quarter of 2011, which was up from €14.6 million a year earlier.

Finnish construction group, 4438 Lemminkäinen, has reported net sales of €550 million in the second quarter of 2011, up from €460 million in the same period of 2010.

The group's operating profit amounted to €20.6 million, which was up from €19.5 million in the second quarter of 2010. Earnings before taxes amounted to €16.1 million in the second quarter of 2011, which was up from €14.6 million a year earlier.

Lemminkäinen expects its annual net sales to increase and pre-tax earnings to improve markedly in 2011 over 2010.
