Epiroc completes acquisition of Wain-Roy

Epiroc, the Swedish global market manufacturer of drill rigs and hydraulic breakers for the quarrying and mining industries, has completed the acquisition of the business of Wain-Roy, a US manufacturer of excavator attachments for the construction industry.

The Wain-Roy business, with a manufacturing site in Kronenwetter, Wisconsin, United States, was part of Oregon Tool, Inc. Wain-Roy has about 100 employees and annual revenues of about SEK 200mn (US$17.91mn). The company’s customers are mainly in the United States. 

 

Epiroc announced on 21 October 2022 that it had agreed to acquire the business of Wain-Roy. 

 

According to the EU Market Abuse Regulation, the transaction is not subject to a disclosure obligation.
