Austrian company 3167 Rockster Recycler says it will be showing future perspectives in crushing and screening technology during 465 steinexpo 2017 (open-air area, booth C21).

Highlight of the Rockster booth at the 10th international demonstration show for the construction materials industry, staged at Europe’s largest basalt quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany (30 Aug – 2 Sep), will be its recently developed mobile track mounted impact crusher R1000S. With the patent protected double functional return belt and the coming soon to the market DUPLEX-system, which allows a wider range of application by interchange of the crusher units, Rockster says the R1000S represents the future of professional crushers.

The R1000S’s versatile setting options ensure excellent final grain quality. The double deck pre-screen with a screen mesh produces an additional saleable product. The hydraulically and vertically adjustable magnetic separator, the hydraulically lowerable screenbox and the swivelling catwalk guarantee a great ease of operation and maintainability. The up-and-over lift system of the side and back doors enables an easier accessibility and saves space.

The R1000S provides a versatile application for recycling and crushing of concrete, demolition debris, asphalt und virgin stone. The technical highlights are a stepless variable, fully hydraulic gap adjustment with integrated measuring system as well as the automatic load-dependent, stepless regulation of the conveying speed and a new fixed hammer. The new developed central control- and operating-system with a multifunctional colour display and the auto start and stop function provides increased operating and safety comfort.

Because of its compact transport measurements: 10.1m (length), 2.55m (width), and 3.2m (height) – and its 30.4tonne operating weight, it is possible to transport the Rockster R1000S without any special authorisation. It takes just 10 minutes to unload the impact crusher and put it into operation. If the transport includes the optional screening system, the dismantling of the return belt and screen box is not necessary. It is also possible to transport the machine with screening system without a specifically required permit because of its 14m (length), 2.83m (width), 3.2m (height) transport measurements, plus its operating weight of 34.9tonnes.

The mobile track mounted 3-deck screening plant RTS514, which is an example for the Rockster screen range, will also be demonstrated at steinexpo 2017. The machine is said by Rockster to guarantee high performance and maximum mobility with its optimal dimensions. This solution is said to offer the perfect screening result. Like the R1000S, the model’s low weight, despite robust construction, compact transport measurements, low feeding height and rapid set up time, offer many advantages.

Rockster will also present at the keenly awaited exhibition the mobile track mounted impact crusher R700S. This impact crusher is said to guarantee highest performance at a very high crushing ratio. Due to two hydraulically adjustable swing-beams, as well as variation of the rotor speed, the final grain can be optimally influenced.

The R700S’s optional screening system - consisting of the compact circular vibrating screen RS73 in combination with the return belt RB65 - is the perfect addition to the track-mounted R700S for the production of 100 % defined final grain. The components are mounted directly on the main discharge belt and are driven through the additional hydraulic system of the crushing plant.

The large-scale covers on the R700S offer optimal accessibility for service and maintenance, while also ensuring the best ventilation for the model’s drive-unit and the cooler. With transport measurements (including the optional vibrating screen RS73 and the return belt RB65) of 14.1m (length), 2.52m (width) and 3.1m (height), and an operating  weight of 22.5tonnes, the Rockster R700S can be transported without a specifically required permit.
