Haver & Boecker Niagara has opened a new service and support facility, Haver & Boecker Andina Sucursal Peruana, in Arequipa, Peru. The new site will amplify the company’s serviceability to mining operations by increasing access to supply parts and equipment service.
The service and support facility provides service and support for mining operations throughout the region through cutting-edge diagnostics, equipment refurbishment, parts stocking and more. In addition to servicing existing equipment and supplying new parts, Haver & Boecker Niagara will produce and repair exciters here, with a dedicated service shop specifically for exciters.
“Haver & Boecker Niagara opened its first South American subsidiary more than 50 years ago in response to the country’s booming aggregates and mining industry,” said Roberto Montiglio, managing director of Haver & Boecker Niagara’s Andean Region. “We have only seen the industry continue to thrive, which is why we are offering dedicated service and support facilities throughout the country, including the Arequipa operation. This allows us to better serve our customers, all while continuing to provide new and innovative solutions to the market.”
The new facility will be located at an industrial condominium called MEGACENTRO MADSA. The company will welcome clients, partners, friends, local community and city authorities to attend the grand opening celebration in March 2024. The new service centre will help reduce lead times by mitigating logistical challenges. A substantial inventory of critical components and high-rotation parts will be kept in stock to shrink delivery times.

The facility will be led by a crew of four full-time employees, including branch manager Luis Salinas and service engineer Miguel Salluca, who bring nearly 20 years of combined experience to their new roles. The crew follows the company’s signature PROcheck approach, a comprehensive eight-point service programme dedicated to keeping customers’ operations running at peak performance. This programme aligns with Haver & Boecker Niagara’s commitment to quality service that customers have come to expect. PROcheck applies Haver & Boecker Niagara’s expertise in diagnostics, processing equipment, engineered screen media, original parts, rebuilds and upgrades, services, plants and process engineering to inspect customers’ screening processes to recommend best processing proficiency practices. An evaluation can be completed quickly and, if necessary, even while equipment is operating.
