Italy-based 2835 EmiControls has introduced a new, restyled and much smaller V12s dust controller.

EmiControls claims the new V12s is exceptionally quiet, and that the smaller size makes it easier to transport and integrate into existing system while still retaining the stability and robustness to operate in challenging conditions. The company adds that the machine can be started and rotated much faster and has a higher tilt angle.

The machine is suitable for all types of quarry, work in city centres or areas where noise levels are kept low, industry, demolition, recycling plants, material warehouses, loading facilities, landfills and wood processing.

EmiControls says the new model has unique features including two speed levels: the custom engine for the V12s can run at 3kW (range: up to 30metres) and at 11kW (range: up to 50m) at 1,000 and 1,500rpm respectively.

The V12s can be installed on various mobile or fixed bodies and are available with heating for winter operation. They also have special nozzles with ceramic insert, out of phase. In addition there is horizontal pump with pressure monitoring and automatic emptying for the right water pressure as well as easily accessible and quick to clean water filter.

The machine has maintained all the functions from the previous model: the specially developed turbine is designed to be particularly quiet with a noise emission of 63 dB(A) within a radius of 20m. The turbine works with 2 speed levels, so it has the flexibility to spray fine water mist from 30m to over 50m. Sophisticated valve technology enables the amount of water to be controlled by remote control on 3 levels, and water flow is 16-100litres/minute.
