QES generators are equipped with user-friendly Qc series controllers that provide power within two clicks and take six seconds to be fully operational.
Atlas Copco says that with the models from 250kVA upwards, it is possible to connect and deploy multiple generators in a modular power plant format if paralleling, load sharing or power export is required. To realise this, users can choose between either a Qc 3012 multiple gensets synchronisation controller or Qc 3111 automatic mains failure (AMF) synchronisation controller.
The new 250-500kVA models are fitted with Volvo engines, and as with other models in the range, the latest QES generators feature waterproof, corrosion-treated canopies that repel all liquids, including heavy rainfall. They can perform continuously for up to 500 hours in extreme high (+50°C maximum) and low (-25°C minimum) temperatures.
“Our QES generators provide a constant source of power in even the harshest weather conditions,” says Sergio Salvador, product marketing manager for rental and construction generators.
“The new additions to the range offer even more flexibility for contractors in the construction and rental sector, particularly those looking for generators with exceptional plug-and-play capabilities.”
All QES generators include a fuel-efficient power pack, sound-attenuated steel enclosure and spillage-free frame with integrated forklift slots and lifting beams for ease of transportation.
