The leading construction materials supplier, which has its headquarters at Coalville in Leicestershire, England, was successful in tendering on the City of Edinburgh Council’s Roads and Transport Infrastructure Construction Framework 2022-26.
The framework, valued at £101.76mn, will provide the city with major carriageway and footway maintenance and renewal.
Aggregate Industries was successful on two lots for schemes where the estimated value of works delivered across both lots is £6.6mn per annum or £26.4mn.
The services within this contract will include planing, road surfacing, minor civils, street lighting, pedestrian crossings, road markings and traffic management.
Aggregate Industries is one of several contractors to be appointed to the framework.
