Ready Mix USA’s Boone’s Creek Plant in Johnson City earned TCA Emerald Award for Environmental Excellence in the small plant category, which applies to plants that produce 25,000 cubic yards or fewer of concrete annually.
The company’s Morristown Plant received the same award in the mid plant category, which relates to plants with annual production between 25,000 and 75,000 cubic yards.
The awards are presented each year to member plants that make outstanding contributions to preserve and protect the environment, exhibit environmental leadership, maintain sound environmental management practices and install equipment or implement environmentally friendly plant procedures.

Additionally, Ready Mix USA earned three TCA Concrete Design Awards, including Best Specialty Project Award for supplying the Seven Islands State Birding Park Bridge Project in Kodak. The company also received the Best Architectural/Engineering Award for contributing to the Dobyns-Bennett High School Science and Technology Center Project in Kingsport and the Grand Champion Concrete Design Award which recognises the best overall concrete project in the state for the Dobyns-Bennett Project.
